This workshop is meant for all subjects and all grade levels. Learn about the use of many different theatre techniques and exercises. The main goal for using exercises from the theatre and improvisation scene is, creating a safe, concentrated, mindful, and happy environment. It not only improves the learning, but the communication and contact between the students as well. The workshop will show many different purposes, targets and uses of these various techniques. The first block will deal with “getting to know each other games” and “warming ups” (for increasing the concentration and the energy of the students), as well as “collaboration games” (learning to work together, as a team). These exercises will also have a positive effect on team building (“feeling safe and accepted” and “having fun together”). The middle block will deal with techniques, which help improve and support the learning aspect in lessons (language learning, math games, and storytelling techniques, speaking in public exercises, and increasing creativity games). The last block will deal with deepening techniques for more social purposes and group dynamics (be aware of-, and setting your own boundaries, anti- bullying exercises, learning how to fail and be okay with it, showing resilience, learning to be in the present moment). The activities are easily adapted to different age groups and subject matters. The workshop is suitable for team leaders and teachers of all subject areas. 09:30 - Coffee 10:00 - Session 1: Introduction- and Energizing Games 12:00 - Lunch 13:00 - Session 2: Fun Learning Exercises 14:30 - Coffee/Tea Break 15:00 - Session 3: Group Dynamic and Social Games 16:30: Evaluation of the day. 17:00: End of Day.
