This workshop will focus on learning how to set up and manage child play environments for the classroom and home. We will look at how to arrange and select available furniture, choose objects and materials that create learning provocations to stimulate rich talk and build vocabulary. Participants will examine the workshop environment and consider immediate improvements as well as engage with the conference spacel to imagine other ways spaces can be arranged. Small World sets will be examined as language provocations.
