After conversations with the school psychologist and classroom teachers, we noticed there were certain students that struggled with their focus and concentration during the school day. As an experienced athlete and coach, I knew that early morning exercise sharpens my concentration and my energy level for the coming day. With early morning exercise, students can start their day in a more balanced and focused way. Through cardiovascular endurance, coordination, and team building games, students are arriving in their classroom at the start of the school day ready to learn. They feel energized, positive about learning, and more focused as the school day begins. Students also improve their athletic skills and make new friends.
