Literacy Skills in MYP I & S Classes

This workshop will discuss how to improve literacy skills (reading, writing, and discourse) in connection to concepts in MYP Individuals and Societies classes. Strategies, graphic organizers, and scaffolded exercises to help support students express their ideas more confidently will be shared. Target grade levels are mainly 6-8. The workshop will give concrete examples from our classes with time to explore and share ideas related to I & S and literacy.
